Sales Development Representative (Lead Generation) – London

As a Sales Representative with Convera, based in our London office, you will be working closely with our Senior Business Development Managers to proactively identify and contact new prospects from multiple sources including databases, events, and partnerships to determine their requirements and arrange qualified appointments for our Senior Business Development Managers.

Responsibilities
  • Being confident in making outbound calls to identify, qualify, and set appointments for our Senior Business Development Managers.
  • Directly prospect new opportunities by using sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com and ZoomInfo.
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as revenue and appointment setting targets.
  • Work closely with the Senior Business Development managers, Industry leads and Head of Sales to prospect new and existing contacts.
  • Manage the lead allocation pipeline to the sales team on a daily basis.
  • Use commercial awareness to demonstrate and promote ideal solutions for potential clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a sales role, ideally lead generation.
  • Prior experience making outbound calls is required.
  • Prior experience in Foreign Exchange is required.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Financial services experience is ideal.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
  • Experience within Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as Salesforce would be advantageous.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Resilient, motivated individual with a tenacious and competitive mindset to succeed.
  • Previous incumbents in this role at Convera have often been promoted to BDM, Dealing or Relationship Manager roles. We expect the same for you!
