Kearney is a global management consulting firm and the majority shareholder of EV8 Technologies, an emerging leader in fleet electrification software. With Kearney’s backing, EV8 is scaling rapidly to meet the needs of fleet operators, OEMs, and infrastructure providers navigating the transition to electric mobility.

We are seeking a Sales Consultant with deep EV sector experience and strong industry connections to help EV8 expand its customer base and accelerate adoption across the fleet ecosystem. This role can be based UK wide.

Role Overview

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for expanding EV8’s market presence among fleet operators, leasing companies, OEMs and charging providers. The ideal candidate will bring an established network within the EV and fleet ecosystem, combined with consultative selling skills and credibility with senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Identify, qualify and close new sales opportunities across fleet operators, leasing companies, OEMs and charging infrastructure providers.
  • Leverage existing EV and fleet industry relationships to open doors and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation and close.
Customer and Market Expertise
  • Act as a subject matter expert on EV adoption and fleet electrification, advising prospects with credibility.
  • Understand customer operational pain points (charging, total cost of ownership, downtime, compliance) and position EV8 solutions accordingly.
  • Provide structured feedback from customers to Product and Customer Success to ensure our solutions evolve with market needs.
Collaboration and Handover
  • Partner closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and adoption of new accounts.
  • Work with the Product team to influence roadmap priorities based on fleet customer insights.
  • Report regularly to the CCO on pipeline, forecasts and strategic opportunities.
What Success Looks Like in 2026
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Secure new logos in fleet and mobility segments through both network and outbound activity.
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities across multiple fleet verticals (logistics, corporate fleets, leasing).
  • Recognised by customers and internal teams as a trusted advisor in the EV space.
  • Directly contribute to EV8’s reputation as a leader in fleet electrification software.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven track record in sales within the EV sector, ideally in fleets, mobility, or charging infrastructure.
  • Strong existing network of decision-makers in the fleet industry.
  • Deep understanding of fleet operations and challenges in electrification.
  • Skilled negotiator and relationship builder with C-suite and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience in enterprise or B2B sales, ideally within a technology or SaaS context.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to tailor messaging to both technical and commercial audiences.
