Job description

Would you like to work in a practice that’s in the top 10% of UK practices according to the 2024 Patient Survey? We are a semi-rural practice of 12,400 patients based in Yate, South Glos, away from the traffic of Bristol and are well organised and efficient. We are a teaching practice of GP Trainees and have supported GP retainers, GP returners as well as newly qualified GPs.

There are 4 Partners (one is our Practice Manager) as well as 5 salaried GPs and a full complement of practice and ARRS staff.

Due to a business reorganisation, this will be an additional position, for employment of a salaried GP for 4 sessions a week.

We are offering:
  • £11,466 per session, with no enhanced access hours or nursing home duties, no reports or Docman, minimal results -usually just your own.
  • We aim to provide a same day service for our patients – phone first, see if needed, which is much appreciated by our patients.
  • Regular GP meetings for education, palliative care, significant event analysis and so on.
  • We meet at lunchtimes to catch up.
  • Fully paid for twice yearly social events such as a day meal out.
  • Six weeks annual leave, one week study leave and bank holidays (all pro rata).
  • Medical Indemnity and GMC membership paid.

Please contact Mrs Carol de-Gay, Dr Catherine Buckley, Dr Charlie Turner or Dr Maria Lewis. for more details at: carol.degay@nhs.net
