Job Summary

Our PrioryCare access model allows flexible clinic scheduling, minimal administrative burden, and integrated support from a dedicated, multidisciplinary team. The role is part‑time, permanent, with 6 sessions per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and routine patient care with a range of enhanced services.
• Manage workload through flexible clinic hours, including school hours and retainer roles.
• Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education through local associations.
• Contribute to specialist services such as prison work, school health, sexual health LARC, minor surgery, research, mentorship, and training of allied health professionals.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team, utilizing specialists such as clinical pharmacists, specialist nurses, MSK practitioners, social prescribers, and physician associates.
• Collaborate with the Complex Care Team overseeing care home patients and offering frailty specialist input in community settings.
• Benefit from a national model of access (PrioryCare) to improve patient flow and clinician caseload control.
• Use back‑office support to minimise administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Pay and Working Pattern

Salary: £10,400 to £11,000 per session (includes on‑call, educational events, Saturday morning).
