Practice Overview

Cowdenbeath Medical Practice is a well established 8 partner training practice serving a population of 11,600. Located centrally and easily commutable by car or train from Edinburgh, Perth and Forth Valley. Purpose built, partner‑owned premises. Stable partnership. Supported by a committed management team with a friendly administrative team. Clinical team: 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses, Mental Health Triage Nurse, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner, Midwife, Community Treatment and Care Nurses, Phlebotomy and Primary Care Pharmacy team.

Role Overview

A Salaried GP position with a commitment of 6 sessions per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday). The role includes 10‑minute telephone appointments, 15‑minute face‑to‑face appointments, duty and visiting sessions allocated in advance on a rota, and usage of Docman, results and prescriptions.
