  • The post holder will hold a key role to Mental Health Services by providing Support of Medical Staffing for the Adult Mental Health Directorate.
Main duties of the job
  • The post holder will administer using the appropriate UHB systems the process of the recruitment of Medical Staff for the Adult Mental Health Directorate.
  • The post holder will support the Care group in the delivery of workforce efficiency proposing change when required.
  • The post holder will need to plan, organise and deliver Medical Staff Departmental Induction programmes.
  • Day to day management of Trainee Doctors personal records, monitoring of sickness, annual and study leave using tact and compassion, ensuring policies are followed.
  • Ensure Rotas are developed, working closely with Workforce Team to ensure compliance with EWTD.
  • Plan rotas and source cover if required at least 6 weeks in advance accurately.

Qualifications and Knowledge
  • Good Standard of education. NVQ Level 3 or ILM Level 3 or equivalent experience.

Experience
  • Experience of computerised systems and manual filing systems.
  • Setting up office systems.
  • Previous NHS experience.
  • Previous experience in Medical Staffing or equivalent role.
Skills and attributes
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to transfer IT skills to new applications as required
  • Welsh Speaker (Level 1) or willingness to work towards achieving this level.
  • Welsh Language Speaking/Listening Skills at Level 3 or above
