An rare opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with the Rheumatology Occupational Therapy team as part of a 9 month fixed term position to cover maternity leave. We are a team of Rheumatology Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support Workers who support patients with a variety of Rheumatic diseases. The service is based in a dedicated Therapies Centre near Rheumatology colleagues, providing treatment for patients living in the four local Integrated Care Systems (ICS) and those referred to us nationally.
The role offers a varied mix of patient-facing and administrative tasks. Therapy sessions are provided in person, by telephone, virtually and in group settings. The service includes the award-winning Bath Axial Spondyloarthritis Rehabilitation Programme and one of the few Fibromyalgia Self-Management group programmes in the region.
Work as part of the Rheumatology Therapies team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath. This service is part of the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases.
