Everun is the leading provider of wind turbine asset management services in Northern Ireland, providing a range of services to the wind energy sector including turbine monitoring, maintenance and servicing, asset and financial management services and bespoke software monitoring tools developed in-house via a sister company.
Operating across the Operations team and the Projects team the Resource & Capacity Planning Manager will act as a central point for all scheduling activities. A key part of this role is developing and maintaining a rolling delivery programme ensuring accurate forecasting of resource, equipment, and logistics requirements.
The successful applicant will oversee the planning and coordination of all project-based activities requiring engineering resource as well as providing medium to long term forward planning of all major activities within the Operations and Projects teams ensuring that all projects, major faults and regular preventative activities are effectively planned, and available resources are utilised effectively.
Report to Projects Director.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop, maintain, and communicate a comprehensive rolling programme for all active and upcoming projects.
- Identify both Ireland and Scotland activities.
- Ensure that every element required for each project is understood, has a clear owner, and is in place before work begins- including documentation, materials, tooling, labour, permits, and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Identify project interdependencies, risks, and opportunities for optimisation across departments.
Resource & Capacity Planning
- Forecast labour, tooling, subcontractor, and material requirements for all planned activities.
- Work closely with managers to secure appropriate teams and skills for each project.
- Maintain visibility of resource constraints and escape issues proactively.
- Secure the resources and skillsets required for each project and major programme activities.
- Use the rolling delivery programme to identify and plan for the resource and capacity required for the major activities within the programme.
Risk, Quality & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain delivery risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with H&S Manager to ensure adherence to HSE procedures.
- Coordinate with IMS/Quality Coordinator to ensure adherence quality protocols and industry standards (e.g. WTSR).
- Coordinate with QA/HSE teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for planning and scheduling between internal teams.
- Provide regular progress updates, reports, and dashboards for senior management and customers.
- Facilitate project meetings, kick-offs, and post-project reviews.
- Liaise with key customer representatives to identify direction of travel over future quarters, understanding opportunities, mobilisation requirements and building these into longer term planning. (This does not include responding to individual T-Stop notifications)
- Liaise with Business development functions to ensure that mobilisation considerations and costs are fully considered within tender responses and longer terms planning.
The Person
- Minimum 3 years' experience in resource planning, workforce planning, or project management role
- Background in strong understanding of engineering projects
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Strong excel skills, and familiarity with Project Management tools
- Confident working cross-functionally with Operations, Projects, Health & Safety etc
