A leading children's services provider is looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers to assist children aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioral needs. The role involves building trusting relationships, safeguarding well-being, and supporting development in a nurturing environment. Full training is available for those without prior experience, but a Full UK Driving Licence is essential for applicants. Job Title: Residential Support Worker
📍 Location: Wakefield (services also across Pontefract, Wakefield, Eggborough & Barnsley)
💷 Salary:
Unqualified: £25,755.60 base | up to £31,155.60 including sleep-ins
Qualified (Level 3 or equivalent): £26,303.16 base | up to £31,703.16 including sleep-ins
⏰ Working Hour: 39 hours per week
💰 Hourly Rate: N/A – salaried role
🛏️ Number of Sleeps Required: 8–10 per month (average)
💷 Pay Per Sleep: £45 per sleep-in
🏡 Service: Children’s Home
👥 Service Users: YPs aged 8–18 | EBD, Trauma, Emotional & Behavioural Needs
🎓 Qualifications Required:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – desirable
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
📆 Experience in Years Required:
Experience preferred but not essential – full training provided
📄 Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
