A reputable law firm in Kettering is seeking a Paralegal/SQE Trainee to join their thriving Residential Conveyancing Team. You will support a senior conveyancer, handle initial paperwork, manage sale files, and interact directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organisational skills along with a passion for conveyancing. This position offers opportunities for career progression and a fully funded SQE upon passing probation.
Due to growth and the continued investment in people, our client is on the hunt for a Paralegal/ SQE Trainee for their vibrant and successful Residential Conveyancing Team. They want you to train there, to qualify there… and to stay there!
You will be dynamic, driven with a passion for; and experience within conveyancing. You’ll be handling sales, purchases, re‑mortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions for domestic properties. You will have an abundance of client care skills, the ability to prioritise effectively and a desire to build your career at our award‑winning firm. In return, you will receive a fully funded SQE upon passing probation (conditions apply), plenty of peers to support and guide you, including 2 Partners and 3 Associates within the Residential Conveyancing Team; as well as wider support from the firm.
If the SQE is not for you, or not for you yet, the paralegal role very much remains, so they will work out something that works for all.

You will have the ability to confidently manage your own workload, prioritise effectively, have excellent communication skills and be a team player. Previous residential conveyancing experience and the ability to work within a busy team is essential. Excellent business development skills are desirable, as well as strong organisational skills.
