A local authority providing residential care in Lancashire seeks a Residential Casual Care Assistant. This part-time role involves supporting older individuals in care homes and day centres, covering for staff absences. The role offers training, competitive salaries, and annual leave. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a compassionate approach to care and may need to complete a Care Certificate during their induction.

We run 16 care homes and 13 day centres across Lancashire, providing care to more than 1,000 adults, including those living with dementia and their families. We have recently been awarded the National Customer Service Excellence Standard and received special recognition for our hard work.
This casual position requires covering staff sickness and holiday absences. You will work up to 37 hours per week, with shift patterns including 08:00-15:30, 15:30-22:00, and nights 22:00-08:00.
