Job description

Share Scotland’s person centred approach allows people the freedom and support to actively pursue their chosen lifestyle within their own home and local community. Share’s support offers choices and opportunities to people that may have been denied them in the past. Can YOU rise to the challenge and make that difference to someone’s life?

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dynamic people to work in all our service in Gorgie, Edinburgh where a relevant qualification or experience of working with someone with learning disabilities would be great; but if you have the right personality and attitude, then we can provide you with expert training to do the job. The vocational training, continuous development and excellent induction package you will receive will ensure you have outstanding support throughout the progression of your career.

As a family led organisation, we believe in building lasting relationships based on trust, honesty and respect, ensuring that people are supported to experience new opportunities, face new challenges, realise ambitions and grow as individuals. Occasional sleepovers will be required for which an additional payment is paid.

This is a fabulous opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, for a charity whose staff were described by Investors in People as being “fundamental to the reasons the organisation is such a special place”.

The successful candidate will be subject to a PVG check and registration with SSSC must be made within 6 months of employment commencing.
