Job description
Regulatory Finance Analyst

Location: Edinburgh / Farringdon

Salary: Personal Contract (Dependent on skills & qualifications)

Reference: REQ5200

Working within SGNs Regulation department, the Regulatory Finance Analyst will be multi-disciplined in supporting both our regulatory reporting requirements as well as supporting ad hoc requirements when required by our regulator.

you will contribute
  • Assist in gathering and checking data inputs for regulatory submissions, ensuring consistency, accuracy and clarity.
  • Support the review of Ofgem publications from both a financial aspect and alignment with licence conditions.
  • Help to identify data gaps or inconsistencies and raise them with relevant stakeholders to support robust regulatory submissions.
  • Review and consolidation of regional factor information and the supporting evidence that feeds into normalisation approaches used within Ofgem cost efficiency modelling suite.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders in presenting the allowance information for the purposes of budget setting and ongoing internal benchmarking.
