£21.29 To £23.51 Per Hour (dependent on experience)

Location: Brunswick Court Care Home, 62 Stratford Rd, Watford, WD17 4JB

Responsibilities
  • Taking responsibility for the well‑being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
  • Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
  • Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each resident.
  • Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin; responsible for managing the unit alongside clinical duties.
  • Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are maintained at a high clinical standard.
  • Confidence offering clinical guidance for care teams, crucial for supporting CQC tasks.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills for effective handover between team members and health care professionals.
  • Strong critical thinking and self‑reliance for night shifts, managing care staff and remaining calm in emergency situations.
