Job summary

A leading consultancy in data centre solutions in the UK is looking for an In-house Recruiter to drive high-quality hiring across their teams. The role demands expertise in technical recruitment for engineering and critical infrastructure. You will run end-to-end recruitment processes, build talent pipelines, and maintain compliance. This position requires a proactive individual, capable of managing multiple vacancies effectively and engaging with stakeholders at various levels. It's a hybrid role based in Whitstable with onsite requirements three days a week.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies in a high‑velocity environment.
  • Experience in data centre commissioning or critical infrastructure recruitment.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an In‑house Recruiter who can drive fast, high‑quality hiring across our technical, engineering, commissioning, and project delivery teams. You’ll own the end‑to‑end recruitment process, build future‑fit talent pipelines, and play a key role in supporting our rapid growth across EMEA.

What You’ll Do
Recruitment Delivery
  • Lead full lifecycle recruitment across permanent, FTC, and contract roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to shape accurate role briefs and job descriptions
  • Source top‑tier talent through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and proactive headhunting
  • Screen for technical capability, project background, cultural fit & compliance
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, offers, and onboarding
  • Support salary benchmarking and offer creation
  • Build targeted pipelines for commissioning engineers, MEP specialists, QA/QC staff, PMs, and site technicians
  • Stay ahead of project demands by aligning pipelines with workforce forecasts
  • Support mobilisation and compliance for deployed personnel
Process, Systems & Compliance
  • Manage candidates and reporting via our ATS
  • Ensure thorough compliance checks (RTW, GDPR, contractor documentation)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across tools, processes, and candidate experience
  • Build strong relationships with internal hiring teams
  • Provide clear updates on vacancy pipelines, risks, and timelines
  • Collaborate with external agencies when needed
Employer Brand & Market Engagement
  • Help amplify our employer brand through quality candidate interactions
  • Support social media hiring campaigns and job advert optimisation
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and sector insights
What You Bring
  • Experience hiring for engineering, technical, construction, or data‑centre roles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies in a high‑velocity environment
  • Experience recruiting across multiple European regionsExcellent organisational, relationship‑building, and communication skills
  • Experience in data centre commissioning or critical infrastructure recruitment
  • Prior use of ATS platforms in a growing organisation
  • Familiarity with European labour markets
