What You’ll Be Doing

We’re looking for a Recruiter to join our growing London team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your recruitment career within a leading engineering consultancy that values Excellence, Accountability, Integrity, and Service.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end recruitment for a variety of engineering roles — helping us connect exceptional technical talent with major clients such as Airbus, Rolls‑Royce, and Jaguar Land Rover.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver effective sourcing strategies.
  • Use multiple channels — job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking events, and referrals — to attract top‑tier engineering talent.
  • Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidates’ technical and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a proactive pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future projects.
  • Ensure every candidate enjoys a smooth, professional, and engaging recruitment process.
  • Communicate ALTEN’s culture and values clearly throughout their journey.
  • Track key recruitment metrics to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Share insights and recommendations to continuously enhance recruitment strategies.
  • 1+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within engineering, technology, or STEM sectors.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and sourcing tools.
