What You’ll Be Doing
  • Take ownership of remediation for an allocation of complex balance sheet reconciliations to agreed criteria.
  • Analyse high volumes of data to identify issues and propose pragmatic, sustainable solutions.
  • Work with onshore and offshore teams to understand current processes and implement improvements.
  • Design reconciliation approaches that deliver clarity, efficiency, and control while highlighting risk.
  • Document new processes clearly and succinctly for stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress against targets and elevate issues where necessary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and other departments to agree deliverables and implement changes.
  • Challenge existing processes to remove inefficiencies while maintaining strong controls.
  • Ensure compliance with ORCM and FRCF frameworks and maintain robust auditability.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and foster strong working relationships across disciplines.
What You’ll Need
  • Solid accounting knowledge with experience in complex finance systems and processes, including double‑entry principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with advanced Excel capability (PowerPoint and Oracle experience advantageous).
  • Ability to manage projects and processes, designing and implementing improvements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, able to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong risk and control focus, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
