Job description

We are seeking a proactive and personable Receptionist to manage front-of-house duties at our London Office. This is a varied and dynamic role requiring excellent communication and organisational skills. Key responsibilities include answering incoming calls, welcoming visitors, handling post and deliveries, booking couriers, supporting data input, and assisting with updates to the company intranet. The successful candidate will also provide occasional administrative support to other departments during peak periods or staff absences.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming telephone calls and handle general enquiries.
  • Receive, sort, open, and distribute all incoming post; frank and send outgoing post.
  • Ensure Reception and visitor areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
  • Book and coordinate couriers.
  • Monitor and process emails received via the Reception inbox.
  • Manage deliveries efficiently.Perform COINS administrative tasks.
  • Issue and deactivate staff access cards as needed.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to departments across the business.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 years previous experience as a receptionist.
  • Written and spoken English.
  • Professional, presentable, and personable demeaner.
  • Proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Willingness and flexibility to take on a variety of administrative tasks.
