Duties and Responsibilities

The role of a management consultant is varied. Typical activities, undertaken as part of a team, include:

• Carrying out strategic and/or technology diagnostics of clients’ real estate operating platform.
• Developing real estate-related strategic initiatives at organizational, operational, and IT levels.
• Defining and gathering requirements for, and supporting the selection of, real estate software solutions.
• Planning and implementing software solutions and related business process changes.
• Developing and analyzing Requests for Proposal (RFP).

Essential Job Functions

• Collaborating with recognized real estate corporate functions, REITs, institutional investors, owner/occupiers across various industry segments including office, retail, PRS, student housing, and industrial/logistics.
• Performing diagnostic analysis of operational processes and IT effectiveness in real estate.
• Strategic planning at organizational, operational, and IT levels.
• Suggesting and implementing leading practices and process improvements in real estate.
• Defining requirements for real estate software solutions.
• Implementing software solutions and associated process changes.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in real estate industry and/or consulting.
• Operational experience in investment management, residential or commercial.
• Experience with real estate ERP systems like Yardi or MRI.
• Experience in property or fund accounting.
• Advanced analytical skills, including Power Query and SQL.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferably 2:1 or above).
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
