Based in the UK, this is a senior Rail Asset Management leadership opportunity to help develop and deliver our UK Rail asset management strategy, lead asset management consultancy projects, and support our global asset management capabilities across Mobility, Resilience and Places.

Role Accountabilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the year-on-year Rail Asset Management strategy and the delivery of the Asset Management portfolio for Rail.
• Drive sustainable growth in revenue and headcount for the Rail Asset Management team in line with business plan targets.
• Develop and deliver the Rail Asset Management Net Revenue Target.
• Manage the Asset Management project portfolio with our Global Excellence Centres.
• Define and develop Arcadis Rail Asset Management capabilities to take to market and recruit to increase capability and capacity.
• Co-create the UK Mobility asset management strategy and annual asset management plans by account, collaborating across the Arcadis business.
• Lead asset management client engagement, develop value propositions and tenders in the rail market, and support winning strategic opportunities requiring blended design, engineering, project management, cost and asset management services.
• Line management and career development of direct reports aligned with the asset management strategy.
• Apply asset management process skills to oversee project delivery on time, with quality and budget targets, and exceed client expectations.
• Support Global capability, particularly in relation to international asset management standards (e.g., ISO 55000) and risk/maintenance advisory.
• Contribute thought leadership and participate in external industry presentations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Senior leadership experience in asset management within a consultancy, client or regulator environment, developing and implementing asset management strategy and plans.
• Combination of asset management process skills, rail infrastructure end market experience, asset class expertise, and/or asset management transformation programs.
• Strong industry links to support capability development and growth of Arcadis Asset Management in line with client requirements.
• Experience leading consultancy delivery of asset management projects addressing strategic, tactical and/or operational challenges (e.g., Asset Management strategies, RAMS, O&M planning, regulator reviews, asset data quality, AM maturity assessments).
• Tender management and bid experience.
• Good understanding of risk management (e.g., FMECA, Bow Tie, Fishbone), ISO 55000, asset management, maintenance engineering (e.g., RCM) and/or Six Sigma tools.
• Chartered or Fellowship status. Recognised Institute of Asset Management certifications (or working towards certification).
• Strong links to industry, clients and the asset management profession to support capability growth of Arcadis Asset Management.
