Qualifications

• Experience working as a Health Physics monitor in a Nuclear facility.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice in the area of radiological protection.
• Produce survey sheets, reports, presentations for management.
• Work with specialists to share findings and identify trends.
• Ensure compliance with UKNNL and external requirements.
• Attend training courses for continuous professional development.
• Provide emergency response for Health Physics matters.
• Report workplace issues and behaviors of concern.

Skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017

Ability to obtain SC level security clearance

Education

City and Guilds Level 1 in Radiation Protection

NVQ Level 2 in Radiation Protection
