The Race Travel Coordinator will manage and arrange all travel requirements for The Cadillac Formula 1® Team, ensuring cost-effective, efficient, and compliant arrangements for races and test events worldwide. This role demands strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure, providing seamless travel solutions for team members while supporting the Travel Manager in supplier relationships, budget adherence, and administrative processes.

  • Assist the Travel Manager with building new relationships with key suppliers
  • Arrange and manage travel itineraries for team members, including flights, accommodation, ground transportation, car hire and visas for race and test events, ensuring all travel arrangements comply with company policies and approved budgets
  • Provide out of hours contact as and when required for all travel arranged by the job role
  • Responsible for all associated admin for the approved travel requests such as hotel, flight and credit card reconciliations, processing purchase requisitions and invoices, maintaining detailed records of travel arrangements and expenses
  • Provide additional support to the Travel Manager and Travel department when requested

What do you need to bring to the team?

  • Proven extensive experience in managing travel arrangements in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to communicate at all levels with a strong commitment to providing excellent service
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines consistently and exhibit excellent problem-solving capabilities, working effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of IFS (desirable)
  • Experience of Sabre or similar GDS platform (desirable)
  • Previous experience in Formula 1® or other sports team (desirable)
