Quantity Surveyor

Join to apply for the Quantity Surveyor role at Enable. This position is part of a forward‑thinking organization that is expanding rapidly, with new roles ranging from Assistant QS to Senior Quantity Surveyor across multiple UK locations.

Responsibilities
  • Optimise margin on projects and protect/mitigate commercial risk.
  • Appoint and manage sub‑contractors.
  • Negotiate and manage client relationships.
  • Support project team as required.
Qualifications
  • Degree level in Quantity Surveying or a relevant commercial/construction subject.
  • Member of or working towards an appropriate professional qualification/membership (RICS/CIOB).
Experience
  • Commercial management of multi‑million construction contracts.
  • Civil engineering project experience.
  • Experience in water infrastructure projects is a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts.
Technical Proficiency

Ability to formulate, present and manage high‑value contract variations and claims through to client agreement. Skilled in negotiation and influencing decisions. Competent in reading, interpreting and measuring construction drawings. Understanding of contract law. Comfortable with complex Excel and Word tasks.

Location

Based in UK locations including Falmer, Reading and Portsmouth.
