A leading children's service provider in Sunderland seeks a Qualified Teacher of Deaf Children to join their dynamic team. In this full-time role, you'll support deaf learners to reach their potential, working alongside a network of professionals in an inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Teacher Status and experience with deaf children. Flexible working arrangements and a commitment to professional development are offered. Location: Agile Your usual office base is at Bunny Hill, but you will be required to support children and young people across the Sunderland area.

As part of TFC’s Children’s Sensory Inclusion Team, you’ll work across all age ranges, supporting learners to achieve their full potential. You’ll be part of a strong, collaborative network of Teachers of Deaf children across the region, sharing expertise and innovative practice. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring inclusion and access for deaf learners, providing advice and support to families, schools, and other professionals.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
