Job description

Hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday & 8.00am to 1.30pm Friday

Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE: To work in accordance with technical electrical drawings and instructions for fabrication of and installation of cable containment and cabling. To ensure the electrical installation is in compliance with the relevant British standards including the latest revisions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand the types of industrial EC&I work to be carried out.
• Understand and adhere to RAMS.
• Carry out duties safely and ensure correct personal use of PPE as specified in the RAMS.
• Keep working areas safe, clean and tidy.
• Work in accordance with construction plans & drawings.
• Ensure the electrical installation is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with relevant British standards including the latest revision.
• Attend and engage in regular toolbox talks with electrical installation personnel.
• Travel to other sites and locations as required.
