MCS Group are looking for an Accountant to join an accountancy practice based in Dungannon.

They provide a range of services including Audit, Accounts, Tax, Corporate Finance and Business Advisory services to their extensive customer base across NI & Ireland. The Role:

As the successful Accountant you will report directly to the Partner and will be responsible for the following:

• Deliver high-quality accounts preparation, including both statutory and management accounts, for a broad portfolio of clients.
• Provide advisory support on accounting, reporting, and business performance matters.
• Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant legislation.
• Oversee tax planning and projections, offering proactive guidance to clients.
• Mentor junior team members, providing training, direction, and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate closely with Partners, providing updates, insights, and support on client work and practice development.

The Person:

The successful Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent;
• Practice Experience is preference;
• Strong Accounts prep experience;
• Strong communication experience;
• Strong IT skills.
