Overview

IT Global Consulting Limited – Seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA & Automation Test Engineer who is responsible for testing, maintenance, and ongoing support for the platform, and acting as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The person should be self-motivated and ambitious, with an ongoing desire to maintain knowledge at the forefront of QA & Automation testing processes and technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
• Identify weaknesses and target areas of a software application.
• Develop ideas for automated software test procedures.
• Test, report, and identify problem areas.
• Design and install software databases as needed.
• Identify quality issues and create test reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• Previous work experience as an automation test engineer.
• Knowledge of advanced programming skills related to automation systems and databases.
• Knowledge of programming/script languages such as Java and VBScript.
• Detailed information about application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management skills (desirable).
