Job: Paralegal (Property Lettings & Revenue)

Location: Chandlers Ford

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a proactive and driven Paralegal to join our Property Lettings & Revenue Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a legal background who is looking to build a long-term career in law.

In this role, you will be responsible for document reviews and advising pre-court process including serving statutory notices. You will also play a key part in supporting our solicitors in their conduct of claims for possession and recovery of money judgments and debt recovery claims. The successful candidate will also contribute to our legal advice line, providing guidance to lettings agents over the phone once fully trained.

Our Property Lettings & Revenue Team specialises in advising landlords and agents on a range of legal issues related to residential lettings.

The Role

As a Property Lettings & Revenue Paralegal, you’ll be:

  • Preparing and serving statutory notices according to tenancy type.
  • Advising landlords on the most appropriate route to possession.
  • Communicating effectively with, landlords, agents and other stakeholders to resolve disputes and provide guidance prior to going to Court.
  • Supporting our solicitors as they conduct claims for possession through to eviction, if required.
  • Answering the legal advice line, delivering clear and accurate advice over the phone.
  • Managing and recording your time efficiently, ensuring deadlines you are given and client expectations are met.
  • Working collaboratively within the Property Lettings & Revenue Team to provide exceptional client service.
About You

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Educated to degree level in law (or equivalent qualification) with a strong interest in property law and enforcement.
  • A confident and clear communicator, both on the phone and in writing.
  • Ambitious, with a desire to progress within the legal profession.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
