About The Role

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to make a real impact? Join Balfour Beatty as a Project Manager and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects that shape communities and exceed client expectations.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain safety and sustainability targets throughout project delivery.
  • Manage customer relationships, including change management and decision‑making.
  • Ensure compliance with company and divisional procedures, including Business Management Systems and project governance.
  • Oversee external consultants (e.g., design) to drive value and achieve project objectives.
  • Address post‑completion issues to maintain positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain effective project records and robust reporting to senior management.
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency, utilising BIM where appropriate.
Who we’re looking for
Essential
  • Demonstrable experience in project management within the relevant industry.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects ahead of schedule, under budget, and with zero defects.
  • Experience working on multi‑stakeholder projects in highly political environments.
  • Experience working with public sector organisations.
Desirable
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., APMP) and technical qualification.
  • Experience with Lean Construction principles and Lean practitioner training.
