IES Utilities Group Ltd is a leading UK utility Provider delivering end-to-end utility solutions. Our teams operate across Power, Gas, Water, Telecoms, District Heating and Renewables, providing survey, design, construction, and maintenance services nationwide. With a commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainability, IES supports clients in building and maintaining resilient, future-ready infrastructure networks across the UK.
The IES Gas Division operates across Pipelines and Above-Ground Installations (AGIs), including PRSs, Offtakes, Compressor Stations and Terminals. Works range from core maintenance activities to multi-discipline and technically complex projects aligned with client investment programmes and the UKs energy transition, including Hydrogen and CCUS.
The Project Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant and commercially successful delivery of gas infrastructure projects from operational handover through construction, commissioning and close-out.
Working closely with our Pre-Construction team, the role takes ownership of projects following completion of design, mobilisation and pre-start activities, delivering in line with the agreed scope, programme, cost and risk baselines.
For smaller or lower-complexity projects, the Project Manager may also be required to manage pre-construction activities, including early client engagement, and mobilisation, ensuring proportionate and efficient delivery.
