Project Engineer

Join us at Acu-IT.net as a Project Engineer. We are a part of Müller Milk & Ingredients, a leading private‑label dairy producer, with a global footprint and a strong focus on innovation and quality.

Location

Based at either Severnside (GL10 2DG) or Droitwich (WR9 0LW). A full UK driving licence is required for travel and project delivery across sites.

Responsibilities
  • Play an active part in continuously improving our systems, business and supporting improvement activities within all areas.
  • Lead minor capital projects, coaching and mentoring site leadership teams end‑to‑end.
  • Maintain the Müller project management and investment processes, ensuring all technical investments comply with group standards.
  • Control project budgets closely, providing forecast spend visibility from concept to closure.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget and to a high quality standard, maintaining fit‑for‑purpose solutions with total cost of ownership awareness.
  • Ensure all project completion and handover documentation is submitted to relevant site teams.
  • Support the wider project team in achieving the OGSM of the business.
Qualifications
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant STEM subject (Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Project Management experience or qualification; experience in a FMCG environment is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Project Management systems (e.g., MS Project).
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Capability to operate across all levels within the business.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
