The Project Director is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of the company's major projects, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget, and with high quality. This position requires a strategic perspective, exceptional project management skills, and cross-functional leadership to coordinate resources, optimize processes, and drive business objectives in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop project strategies and plans, ensuring project objectives align with the company's overall strategy.
  • Lead a cross-functional team, including project managers, technology, operations, product, and finance, to drive project execution.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-cost, and high-quality delivery.
  • Identify project risks, develop response strategies, and make timely adjustments to plans to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Communicate project progress, key issues, and decision-making recommendations to senior management.
  • Establish and improve project management processes, standards, and tools to enhance the organization's project execution capabilities.
  • Monitor project performance, evaluate results, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop subordinate project managers to enhance the overall capabilities of the team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in project management, engineering, information technology, business management, or a related field; MBA or PMP certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience managing large-scale projects, including at least 3 years of cross-departmental leadership experience.
  • Extensive experience in project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills, capable of quickly solving problems in complex environments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to coordinate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Prince2, Agile) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, with strong adaptability and execution capabilities.
