Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Production Operative - Bioflex Nights to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with the Company Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Policies, reporting any potentially dangerous issues or faults to your direct Team Leader or Production Manager.
  • To ensure quality products are produced in the required quantity, on time, and at the lowest possible cost in a manner in keeping with the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures of the company.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude to training and personal development.
  • Monitor the performance of the process ensuring maximum output is achieved at all times.
  • Carry out and document the correct quality control checks for each job performed, completing all production paperwork.
  • Work as a team to ensure departmental targets, company targets and customer deadlines are achieved.
  • Ensure that output is in line with the production targets.
  • Inform the Team Leader of any quality problems, process problems, or machine breakdowns asap.
  • Ensure that a good relationship is maintained within the department with all staff.
  • Report any material or consumable shortages as soon as possible.
  • Conduct periodic checks in accordance with relevant procedure and or specification.
  • Maintain a high standard of 5S at all times.
  • Record breakdowns and scrap on the necessary documentation.
  • Ensure all procedures are followed correctly and without exception.
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed at the correct time.
  • Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised.
  • Demonstrate ability to make decisions based on data available.
  • Work with departmental manager and team members to identify, implement and drive actions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the correct quality controls and measurements are adhered to.
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with Safety Health and Environmental standards in line with company procedures.
  • Highlight or challenge unsafe behaviour before any accidents occur.

  • Safety minded.
  • Computer literacy is desirable.
