Overview

SOFICO Great Malvern, United Kingdom

Join to apply for the Product Manager role at SOFICO.

The Miles Enterprise Suite is on a mission: to evolve with the fast-paced world of leasing, fleet management, and mobility services. As Sofico ventures into new verticals, we’re assembling a new team to tackle truck and equipment leasing, think trucks, excavators, and material handling beasts. As a product manager, you’re not just managing the new product. You’re crafting its story, shaping its future, and making sure it doesn’t just exist, but thrives. You’ll be the glue between vision and execution, strategy and sprint, customer needs and technical realities. You’ll lead the charge from idea to launch (and beyond), making sure our products don’t just meet expectations, they surprise and delight.

Responsibilities
  • Define the “why” behind the product, translate market problems into clear opportunities and user-centric solutions
  • Lead discovery missions to validate customer appetite and uncover what they really need (not just what they say they want)
  • Craft and own the roadmap, balancing innovation with feasibility, and ensure we’re building the right things at the right time
  • Prioritize like a pro, manage the backlog and break down epics into crisp, actionable user stories
  • Steer the delivery team, align on sprint goals, refine stories, and keep everyone focused
  • Be the voice of the product, engaging with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to build excitement and clarity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, marketing, and tech to ensure smooth releases and organizational readiness
  • Track success, measure impact, and iterate relentlessly because done is never really done
  • Define plans and budgets for developing, releasing and selling products to customers
Your interests and skills

Curiosity is your compass. You stay ahead of market trends, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and constantly look for smarter ways to solve problems.

Your mindset is rooted in customer value. You think beyond features and functionality, always considering how each decision affects the people who use your product.

You see the big picture and know how to bring others along for the ride. You navigate competing priorities with ease, keeping teams aligned and focused on what truly matters — with engineers, marketers, or execs.

What else is expected:

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally in software or technology-driven environments
  • Proven experience within truck and equipment leasing environments
  • Strong skills in roadmap development, backlog management, and product lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or equivalent
