A scientific equipment company in Sheffield is looking for a Product Development Electrochemist to join their R&D team. We are seeking a highly motivated electrochemist to join our R&D team and drive our electrochemical product development. This role involves researching and developing new products and technologies based on electrochemical and photoelectrochemical systems, measurement cells, potentiostats, and galvanostats.
At Ossila, we manufacture, source, and develop a wide range of scientific equipment in Sheffield, including potentiostats, electrochemical cells, and advanced photoelectrochemical cells. We support green research through providing technologies for CO2 emissions research, clean water and energy development, battery and solar cell materials, and more.
As a product development electrochemist, you will initially focus on the product development of electrodes, electrochemical cells, and photoelectrochemical cells for applications in cyclic voltammetry, electrocatalytic reactions, corrosion tests, fuel cells, and batteries. You will also take the initiative for upgrading our existing potentiostat and developing a prototype galvanostat.
