A financial media company is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to create and maintain data dashboards. This role involves client interaction and supporting various company departments with data insights. Ideal candidates should have advanced skills in PowerBI and Excel, as well as SQL and Python knowledge. The position offers relocation opportunities to London after training in Madrid. This role will sit within the Exile Group, in the data department. The role will focus on all three of the groups’ brands. This is a Junior role that will focus on data analysis, including reporting for clients, creating dashboards to help them extract value from it, helping journalists to tell stories using the data and using different strategies to capture and classify data including machine learning and data scraping. The location for the first 3 to 6 months will be in Madrid (where the head of data & product is), but there will be a relocation opportunity to London after the training is completed. We offer a self-employed contract first because the company does not have a presence in Spain, but the company will support the visa application process and offer a contract in the UK if the successful candidate wishes to relocate after the training period.
We are looking for an individual with a lot of initiative and curiosity, capable of working independently and keen to take responsibility for different tasks.
