Job summary

A local authority client is searching for a Principal Planning Officer to manage a mixed caseload of planning applications, including significant housing developments. This role offers flexible working and requires on-site presence once a week or bi-weekly. Candidates should have a relevant degree in town planning and ideally be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. The contract is initially for 6 months with a pay rate of £55 per hour, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in town planning.
• Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) preferred.

Carrington West are assisting համաձայն यू local authority client based in East Anglia in their search for a Principal Planning Officer to join their Development Management. This will be an initial 6laus month contract with possible scope to extend. Our client is willing to offer a flexible working situation, with an expectation of on‑site and office presence once a week or fortnightly.
