A seafood processing company in Grimsby is seeking a Primary General Operative to ensure the efficient performance of production tasks while maintaining health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of spoken English and a willingness to learn. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring teamwork and a 'can do' attitude. New England Seafood International (NESI) was established in 1991 and is an importer and processor of premium fresh and frozen sustainable fish and seafood. NESI employs circa 850 people across three sites in the UK and imports a wide range of wild and farmed fish and shellfish from all around the world. Primary General Operative
NESI - Grimsby
Health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and anyone else on site. The efficient performance of the daily tasks involved with the primary production processes, to ensure products are produced in line with H&S and food safety requirements.
Ensuring that all tasks are completed as requested by line manager.
Key areas of activity that the Operative needs to deliver are as follows:
Need to be able to work to a high standard in a fast moving production environment.
Where possible adopt a flexible approach to work.
Undertake any ad hoc duties which may be required from time to time.
Hours of work are 4 on 4 off, 06:00am to 06:00pm.
