Job description

Currently recruiting a Pricing Specialist for a leading forwarder based in the Manchester area.

Ideal Candidate

• Air freight tenders
• Spot pricing
• Negotiating and maintaining relationships with partners, including airlines, trucking companies, and packers.

Key Responsibilities

• Continually engage with new and existing customers
• Produce quotations, proposals and RFQs to Sales member within the company
• Ensure very best price and service balance
• Prioritise opportunities for follow up
• Up-sell services and increase business revenue
• Gain detailed understanding of Air services offered
• Assist with Air product pricing on all RFQs/Tenders covering Export & Import
• Prepare quotations
• Follow up quotes and proposals over telephone, emails or in person where required
• Coordinate with suppliers, partners & internal teams to improve cost, revenue and profit management

Salary: up to £34,000, with a bonus based on company performance.
