Job description
The Role – Practice Manager at Angle House Chingford (E4 8HX)

We're a busy, friendly orthodontic practice dedicated to giving our patients the best smiles and the best experience. We're not just about braces and aligners; we're about a supportive team environment where everyone genuinely enjoys coming to work.

Our orthodontists rely on a Practice Manager to assist with a range of administrative and organisational tasks, while our patients appreciate the reliability and reassurance – they need to know they are in safe hands.

We're looking for a Practice Manager who can keep our practice running smoothly, our team happy, and our patients smiling from the moment they walk in.

Why work with us?
  • Practice bonus scheme (subject to eligibility)
  • Private medical cover (after 1 year of service)
  • Discounted orthodontic treatment
  • Great working environment
  • Friendly and supportive team
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Enhanced pension scheme (after 2 years of service)
  • Social events
  • GDC fees paid and indemnity cover (if applicable)
  • Work-life balance
  • Competitive salary
Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the practice.
  • Support the practice partner in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (for example CQC, NHS, RQIA, Health and Safety)
  • Take line management responsibility for all employees within the practice, including responsibility for motivation, objective-setting, training, recruitment and performance management
  • Take responsibility for and supervise all banking procedures, including deposits, payments, and checking bank statements and NHS claims
  • Provide the best care to our patients, ensuring their patient journey aligns with their needs and expectations
  • Duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice
Requirements:
  • You should have previous experience in dental or medical practice management. Orthodontic experience is a huge bonus, but a passion for smiles is what really counts!
  • You must be a great communicator—friendly, calm under pressure, and fantastic at building rapport with both staff and patients.
  • Things don't always go to plan, and we need someone who can tackle challenges with a constructive, can-do spirit.
  • You are confident in people-management, capable of setting clear practice goals, coaching and developing staff, and fostering a positive, high-performing team environment.
  • Comfortable with practice management software (DoIT)
