PPC Manager

Location: Hybrid (London / Remote)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and confident PPC Manager to lead Google Ads performance across a portfolio of eCommerce and DTC brands. This is a hands‑on, execution‑first role with real influence. You’ll manage day‑to‑day optimisation, own client communication for your accounts, and work closely with our Paid Social and Client Services teams to deliver measurable growth.

What You’ll Do
PPC Strategy & Execution
  • Manage, optimise, and scale Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display, and YouTube.
  • Conduct keyword research, build effective campaign structures, and write compelling, on‑brand ad copy.
  • Make data‑led optimisation decisions to improve ROAS, reduce CPA, and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain high‑quality account structures, negative keyword management, feed optimisation, and naming conventions.
Performance Ownership
  • Own pacing, budget allocation, forecasting, and scaling decisions for your PPC accounts.
  • Run structured tests across bidding, audiences, ad copy, and landing pages.
  • Ensure campaigns follow best practices and consistently improve performance.
Client‑Facing Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary PPC contact for your assigned clients.
  • Lead weekly and monthly performance calls.
  • Present insights clearly, confidently, and strategically.
  • Manage expectations, communicate proactively, and support clients in commercial decision‑making.
Data, Reporting & Insights
  • Produce accurate, actionable performance reports with clear commentary and next steps.
  • Analyse cross‑channel performance (with support from the Head of Paid) to identify new opportunities across PPC, Paid Social, and CRM.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Development teams to improve landing pages, user journeys, and CRO.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Head of Paid Media on strategy, forecasting, and target‑setting.
  • Partner with the Paid Social Manager to ensure cross‑channel alignment and shared learnings.
  • Support creative teams with data‑led feedback on ad formats, messaging, and testing opportunities.
About You
  • 3+ years managing PPC/Google Ads for eCommerce or DTC brands (agency experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Search, Shopping, Display, and YouTube campaigns.
  • Confident managing budgets of £20k–£100k+ across multiple accounts.
  • Excellent communicator — clear, concise, and comfortable leading client calls.
  • Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and confident turning data into decisions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced agency with multiple clients.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and always looking for ways to improve performance.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with feed management tools (e.g., DataFeedWatch, Channable).
  • Familiarity with GA4, Looker Studio, Shopify, and attribution tools.
  • Understanding of paid social and full‑funnel performance.
