Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must have or be about to obtain a PhD in a relevant field.
  • Experience simulating climate or chemistry is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Fortran and high performance computing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform experiments using the NERC-Met Office UKESM model.
  • Analyze model results and assist in emulating results using machine learning.
  • Collaborate with scientists globally and with UK Met Office.
