An environmental authority in Brecon is seeking a passionate individual to assist in nature conservation and biodiversity promotion. This role involves contributing to planning policy and ensuring statutory compliance. Ideal candidates should have experience in nature conservation and a collaborative mindset. The position is full-time with a permanent contract. Competitive salary between £31,022 - £33,699 per year.

Responsible to: Planning Ecologist
To assist the Authority’s work in nature conservation, enhancement of the National Park’s wildlife and promotion of its biodiversity. Contribute to the formulation of planning policy and guidance and development management casework to ensure compliance with the Authority’s statutory obligations and biodiversity duties. Work in partnership with officers and Members of the Authority and other stakeholders in achieving this.
