Piping Project Lead – Nuclear New Build

Job summary

A leading engineering company in Bridgwater is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Piping to oversee piping construction activities for a Nuclear New Build Power Station. In this key role, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of works, manage teams, and coordinate with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of project management experience in piping construction. This role offers a PAYE salaried position with negotiable pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of piping construction experience in a senior or project management role.
• Strong knowledge of piping construction, welding, inspection, and international standards.
• Proven experience leading large teams on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver piping execution plans, schedules, and methodologies.
• Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet programme milestones.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, RAMS, JSAs, and permit-to-work systems.
• Act as main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Education
