Qualifications

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Chartered or working towards Mechanical Engineer (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience of undertaking pipe stress assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver stress analysis capability across piping systems and pipe supporting elements.
  • Support supply chain partners in reviewing analysis work performed.
  • Undertake 3D Finite Element Analysis as required.

Skills

Experience of undertaking design code assessments on ASME B31 and ASME III
Proficient in pipe stress analysis programmes (e.g., Autopipe, Abaqus)
Programme Management
Nuclear Industry knowledge

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Chartered or equivalent
