24 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to £31,000.00 FTE per year
(depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate is part of Circle Health Group , Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.

This is a part- time role for 24 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post-surgical conditions (dependent on setting).
  • Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
  • Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration.
  • Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning as appropriate.
  • Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation).
  • Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
  • Strong understanding of clinical reasoning, assessment techniques, and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
