Pay

Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

Working Hours

Our policy is to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we also have opportunities.

We have labelled times (availability windows) below. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and give you three weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We support flexibility, so if your availability is close to but not exactly the times we advertise we still love to hear from you.

  • Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00
  • Tuesday: 14:30 – 20:00
  • Friday: 08:00 – 12:00
  • Saturday: 13:00 – 18:00

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the operation of one of our new modern Pharmacies.
  • Applying your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for our customers.
  • Dispensing prescription medicines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Talking to customers and offering information in a confident, friendly and professional manner to create a great service.
  • Offering appropriate information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products.
  • Taking time to understand the customers’ needs, explaining the benefits of the products in a way they understand and only selling products that are right for the customer.
  • Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
  • Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
  • Dealing with clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within area of competence.
  • Responding to customer queries in relation to prescription medicines, informing the Pharmacist of any complaints.
  • Ensuring all dispensary routines and SOP are followed.
  • Ensuring dispensary and consulting rooms are clean, tidy and free of clutter.
  • Ensuring all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
  • Bringing promotional activities and company initiatives within the team to life.
  • Carrying out all procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
  • Completing corporate andინცtraining.
  • Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.

  • Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
