Job Title: Pharmacist (Outpatients) - Bank Shifts

Department: Pharmacy

Location: 164-178 Cromwell Hospital, Cromwell Road, London SW5 0TU

Salary: Competitive

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am–8:00pm, Saturdays 8:30am–2:30pm (Bank shifts)

What You’ll Do
  • Abide by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards of conduct, ethics and performance as well as standards for registered pharmacies.
  • Ensure the Outpatient Clinical Pharmacy service is patient‑focused, responsive and appropriate, upholding the professional image of the department.
  • Work as a Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring medicines are dispensed legally, efficiently and accurately and that all required clinical and other checks are completed.
  • Provide appropriate counselling and information to patients regarding their medicines.
  • Provide professional leadership, ensuring all pharmacy practice—including your own—is within the boundaries described in the latest Medicines, Ethics and Practice guidelines issued by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and GPhC.
  • Ensure individual patient needs are met and take appropriate actions to resolve issues as they arise.
What You’ll Bring

  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank shifts.
