A support service provider is looking for a Personal Support Worker to assist a young man in Cramlington, helping him remain independent during the day while his main carers are at work. Responsibilities include building his social network, engaging in activities he enjoys, and teaching life skills. Candidates must have experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties, be patient, and possess a valid driving license with access to a vehicle. This role offers 20 hours of work per week at a rate of £13.74 an hour.
We are looking for a support worker to enable an 18-year-old young man, who lives in Cramlington, to remain independent, whilst his main carers are at work.
He enjoys art, animation, animals and most importantly dinosaurs. He enjoys swimming, especially underwater. A physically able and active individual would be preferred for this role to keep up with the young man.
