Overview

Payroll Administrator – Savers Stead House DC

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Total Hours Per Week: 40

Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the successful Superdrug Supply Chain, working within one of our three busy Distribution centres as a Payroll Administrator. This vacancy is for the Stead House Distribution Centre, based in Darlington. The hours will predominantly be as stated above but flexibility will be required across all other shift patterns.

About the role

  • This position will begin as payroll administrator and will expand after training to include HR tasks such as absence management, supporting meetings and giving advice.
  • Processing of T&A data, including administration of daily anomalies
  • Validation of T&A data and upload for payroll submission
  • Management of the Payroll communication log; processing changes where applicable
  • Processing of all anomaly manual payroll upgrades
  • Administration of holidays/sickness/absence
  • Administration of weekly transport rota—processing changes where applicable
  • Daily input/maintenance of the T&A/Payroll system
  • Configuration changes to T&A shift patterns/cycles/programs
  • Processing of payroll queries
  • Liaise with site management team to address any time and attendance/payroll anomalies
  • Manage payroll queries from staff, resolving and responding to employees in a timely manner
  • Daily update and maintenance of all personnel files and records
  • Raising POs and administration of expenditure tracker
  • Validation & invoice tracking
  • Post (incoming/outgoing)
  • Issuing of safety workwear to employees
  • General administration
